I can do it, I can do it.
Yes I can, yes I can.
When I think I can,
when I think I can.
I can do it, I can do it.
This little light of mine, I’m going to let it shine x 3
Let it shine, let it shine, let it shine.
Won’t let anyone put it out, I’m going to let it shine x 3
Let it shine, let it shine, let it shine.
Hide it under my hat? No! I’m going to let it shine x 3
Let it shine, let it shine, let it shine.
Take my light around the world, I’m going to let it shine x 3
Let it shine, let it shine, let it shine.

Make me fearless like a jungle lion, like a roaring ocean,
like an eagle in flight.
Make me fearless like Mulla Husayn, like Tahirih,
like ‘Abdu’l-Baha.

I love the activities for this lesson! I especially love giving kids so many ways to remember to be courageous when they are feeling scared and to remind themselves that they have God’s love and protection. Awesome!
Really appreciate the feedback Leanna, thank you! I have to say all the talk about being courageous and relying on God for courage has definitely helped me as well
Words cannot express my thanks for such an amazing project. Thank-you!!!! I can’t seem to “save link as” for the music. Any suggestions?
Thanks for the comment Janna! Did you try right clicking the button then selecting “Save link as”? If this doesnt work for you let me know.

Thanks so much for the feedback Jedda, we really appreciate it! So glad you are enjoying the program
We try to keep everything as simple and easy to use as possible – as busy moms (with young kids especially) it’s a must!
Hi Chelsea,
Again, I wanted to share how we used your lessons in a toddler class. We sang prayers, introduced the virtue of courage, and the parents told stories about how their children had shown courage recently. We then learned the “Armed with the Power of Thy Name” quote (I knew a tune to go with that one) and for the activities, we played the objects in a pillowcase game, where the children had to stick their hands in and guess what it is/pull it out. The other thing we did was I cut 4×4 squares out of construction paper and punched a hole in the top as well as cut out the heart with the “Armed…” quote. The children decorated the heart and glued it to the square, and we made necklaces out of it w/a piece of yarn.
Thank you again for these lessons!
Warmly,
Amelia
Thanks so much for sharing your experiences, Amelia! And the photo
So neat to see how these lessons are being used.
