Decorating with Virtues

January 12, 2012 By Chelsea

One way to incorporate virtue learning into daily life is to have the virtues visible around you.  There are so many ways to decorate with virtues – please share your own creative ideas!

Some include:

  • Making a poster with a list of virtues beautifully written
  • Hanging pictures of your children practicing virtues with inspirational quotations attached
  • Creating a collage of flowers with a virtue pasted on each one
  • Hanging flags or a banner with virtues written on them

If you are studying virtues consistently in your family, it may be nice to write up the Virtue of the Month and the quotation you are learning so you can often refer yourself and your children to it throughout the day.  You can do this by simply purchasing a small chalk board, dry erase board, or pin board.

Please share pictures of how you have decorated using a virtues theme and/or add comments below…

Testimonials

"Having morning family prayers is something I grew up with, but having a systematic approach that infuses Baha’u’llah’s words, virtues, and music into your morning devotions really carries that spirit through the rest of the day..." Read more on our Testimonials page.
