Have you ever wished you would have more prayers memorized? That you’d finally learn to think before you speak? Or that you could really share “Anna’s presentation” with clarity and confidence?
A Bucket List is basically a list of life goals, or things you want to do “before you kick the bucket” (a.k.a. die).
Now’s your chance to write your Spiritual Bucket List. The Baha’i New Year is coming up and there’s no better time than now to think about your goals for personal growth, spiritual transformation, and living your best life in the deepest sense. We’ll talk later about how to work on meeting them.
We would like to clarify that these goals are meant to be for your spirit – ie not “I want to go scuba diving” or “I want to learn to surf.” This is a place to list ways you would like to feed your spirit.
Please make a comment with your goals and it will be our endeavor to post about each unique item to support your spiritual journey, sometime over the next year. We aren’t experts by any means (many of our goals will probably overlap!) but we’ll do our best to find some helpful quotations, do some research, and possibly create a tool to help you.
You have until Naw Ruz (March 21st) to make a request for a subject on our blog. (Remember our promise last week to give you a chance to ask for help with your goals? This is it.)
Who knows what hidden mysteries, spiritual susceptibilities, or supportive forces will be revealed? The sky is the limit, and what a mysterious, vast, and grand sky that is.
Be audacious, be creative, be real…
Go!
