I am waiting patiently for my turn.
I am waiting patiently for my turn.
I am waiting patiently,
I am waiting patiently,
I am waiting patiently for my turn.

Comments about the lesson
This month I found singing the one of the songs when I wanted my son to be patient really helped him remember that patience isn’t so hard all the time, if you only remember that it doesn’t have to be. I also found it useful for myself, when I needed to remember to be patient!
One day my son overheard my telling my husband, ‘I cant wait to go to bed tonight.’ He immediately said, ‘Be patient, mommy, don’t you remember? Be patient under all conditions!’ It was so neat to hear him use a quotation from Baha’u’llah in every day language! And it definitely helped me remember that it is important to be patient, even for the little things.
We had lots of fun with Daily Activity #17 wiggling our noses and other parts of our bodies. I think I will use this little rhyme to prepare my son for times he’ll need to be patient, like waiting for an appointment or sitting still during a meeting.
Sharing markers for activity #18 was good practice at being patient for short periods of time while someone else is using something. It’s not always easy for my son to wait, but every little bit of practice helps.
