This is the fourth page in the “Online Introduction to Radiant Hearts” series. It covers the “Glossary of Radiant Hearts Terms.”
Though Radiant Hearts may seem complicated at first glance as it is composed of many different parts, it will become simpler as you get familiar with the terms. Here is a list of popular terms used in the program. This page will give you a quick overview of the terms used throughout the Radiant Hearts materials but full descriptions are in the Introduction which you can download from the main page.
Basic Lesson The Basic Lesson is one of the two documents required for each Radiant Hearts lesson. It can be downloaded from the Online Lesson.
Booklet The Booklet contains 6 or more sentences describing the spiritual quality of the lesson plus accompanying pictures. It can be found on page 4 in the Printables and also in an enlarged format in the Lesson Poster document.
Daily Activity A Daily Activity is one of the 19 activities outlined on pages 3 and 4 of the Basic Lesson. Each Daily Activity is meant to give a practical or creative way for children to engage in learning about the spiritual quality.
Devotional The Devotional is a set of six short quotations from the Writings of Baha’u’llah and ‘Abdu’l-Baha. It can be found on page 2 of the Printables.
Monthly Letter The Monthly Letter is one of the Daily Activities offered in each lesson. A template for the letter can be found on page 5 of the Printables.
Online Lesson The Online Lesson is the place where all documents, music, pictures and extra materials can be found for each lesson. The links for the Online Lessons can be found on the Radiant Hearts main page and are always in the format of www.enablemetogrow.com with a “/” and the name of the virtue at the end.
Printables The Printables is one of the two documents required for each Radiant Hearts lesson. It can be downloaded from the Online Lesson. Read more about the Printables here.
Radiant Hearts Book The Radiant Hearts Book is a homemade folder where families may like to keep their Radiant Hearts crafts, especially the stories they write for the Daily Activity of “Adding a page to the Radiant Hearts book” the template for which is page 4 of the Printables. A cover template can be found on the Radiant Hearts main page under the “Other Helpful Documents” section.

Radiant Hearts Music The original tunes for all 19 prayers and 19 quotations used for the 19 lessons in the Radiant Hearts program are referred to as the Radiant Hearts Music. The music can be found here.
Spiritual Treasure Box This is a homemade box or container families may like to use to keep their “spiritual treasure box projects,” which are two simple craft activities offered on page 1 of the Printables that are based on the prayers and quotations in each lesson.
